Realize : Light x Reader part 3

     You opened your eyes slowly. You could feel the weight of the blanket on your body. You looked at the clock on the wall. It was 6:30 in the morning. You stood up from the bed and walked to your bathroom. You threw your clothes on the floor and took a quick shower. When you finished you wrapped a white towel around your body. You looked yourself to the mirror and saw the hickey on your neck. And that made you remember what happen last night.

FLASHBACK

“I want to know because … I am Kira” Light said.

   Your eyes widened of shock. He confessed to you that he was Kira. You couldn’t believe it. Your heart beat faster than before and fear took over. You couldn’t breathe no matter how much you tried. Light moved his head from your right ear to your face and looked to your eyes.

“What? Too good to be true?” he said and smirked to you.

   You tried to speak up but no words came out of you. You shut your eyes tight and you just stood there waiting for him to do something. You were afraid. You had told him your opinion about his actions and that made him angry. There is no doubt to that. You could feel his hot breath on your face. He placed his forehead on yours and took a deep breath.

“Can you open your eyes now? I am not going to hurt you if you are a good girl. You have my word to that.” He said without moving an inch.

“Your word?” you opened your eyes and looked straight to his brown orbs. “Do you expect me to believe you? You are fake and so is your word.” You said.

“Wow! She is brave! I give her that.” Ryuk said and lean his back on the wall. Light ignored Ryuk’s comment and smirked to you.

“I am afraid that you have to accept it. But of course there is always the other option.” He said.

“And what’s the other option?” you asked. You tried to hide your fear.

“To kill you.” He said waiting for your answer. You took a deep breath to clean your mind trying to think a way to escape this mess. Light placed his hands on your shoulder and pushed you harder to the fridge to catch your attention.

“You know that hurts. Let me go.” You said and struggled to break free back he hold your shoulders tight and pushed his body on yours to block all exists.

“You know I can do this all night until you can’t move any longer. But now that I think about it I can use force to make you stop. What are you going to choose? I wonder.” He said and smirked. You didn’t have any choice but to stop. You stopped struggling and looked at his eyes. “Good choice.”

“What do you want?” you said. He didn’t move his body but only his head. He came close to your face.

“You.” He said. “I want you to be part of my plan and make the world a better place.” He said.

“Are you crazy? How are you going to make a better world by killing criminals?” you shouted to him.

“They are evil ___. They deserve to die.” He said.

“You can’t decide that Light. You aren’t the God.” You said. But all your bravery vanished when you saw the pure fury in his eyes.

“Don’t give me that. A moment ago you said that murders should die because they hurt people. And now you say that no one should die. I am going to be the God of this new world and no criminal will threat it.” He said and laughed.

“You are crazy. There is no sense to your words. You lost it.” You said and fear took over. Your legs couldn’t support you any longer and only Light’s hold kept you from falling to the floor.

“Let me tell you something. You can’t refuse my offer …” but you cut him off.

“Then kill me. I am not going to join you.” You shouted. Light’s eyes widened. He didn’t want to kill you. He had to find a way to make you join him. And he smirked.

“I am not going to kill just yet. If you refuse my proposal I will kill first what you cherish the most.” He said.

“What?” you said and froze on the spot. “Does he mean it?” you thought.

“You didn’t think I was going to be merciful did you. I am going to take everything from you. I am going to make you beg for an end. And I think I will start from your sister. I am sure you will love the feeling to be the only one.” He laughed.

“Monster.” You said.

“Your answer please.” He said with a smirk.

“Fine I will join.” You said and started tears falling from your eyes.

“Finally you saw reason.” He said and moved away from you. You fell on the floor and swept your tears.

“And how am I suppose to help you?” you asked and stoop up. He was sitting on the chair and you sat across him. He smirked and showed a piece of paper.

“Touch it.” He ordered and you did. The moment you touch it you saw a black figure behind Light. You pushed your chair behind and moved away from the table until your back met the wall.

“What is that?” you shouted and pointed at the black creature.

“That’s a Shimigami. His name is Ryuk. He gave me the power I need to clean the world from fools.”  He said.

“Hi there.” He waived to you. You didn’t trust that thing. But neither Light. You relaxed and came closer to the table and sat again.

“So is he the one who do your dirty word?” you said and Light looked at you.

“No. He only grants the power I need. You see I have found a note book. If I wrote someone name’s there he is going to die. The only thing I need is a name and a face. That’s how I kill criminals.” He said.

“I see. And what is my part to all this?” you asked. In truth you didn’t want to use that note book.

“Your part is simple.” He said and stood up.

“So … am I going to use that note book for you?” you asked.

“No! I will tell you when I am sure about it. For now you have to follow my orders and everything will be fine. When the school ends you will come back to your house and avoid everyone.” He said and moved close to your face.

“WHAT? You can’t do that. I may join you but that doesn’t mean I belong to you.” You shouted to him. He smirked and pushed you to the floor. You were in shock until you felt a pair of lips on your neck. A moan escaped your lips when Light licked and sucked your neck. He smirked against your skin and stood up leaving you lying on the floor.

“Now you belong to me. And that mark shows it. Good night!” and he left the kitchen.

End of the Flashback.

  You felt dirty after that. You wished that everything was a dream and nothing really happened. But that damn hickey he made on your neck was real enough. You walked out of the bathroom and changed to your school uniform. Thankfully the uniform hid the mark on your neck. You took your school bag and looked yourself to the mirror.

“At least my family is okay. I can’t ask for more.” You thought.

    You headed downstairs and placed your bag on the couch where Light should be lying. You walked towards the kitchen and found him there sitting on the chair. You took a deep breath to talk to him and God knew how much you hated him right now.

“Good morning!” you said and walked towards the fringe.

“Good morning _____!” he said with a smirk. “Did you sleep well?”

“Be nice.” You thought. “Yes. And I am ready for school.” You said avoiding eye contact.

“Good.” He whispered to your ear.

“When did you –“ you turned your head to face him but he put a finger to lips and cut you off.

“Shhh…. There is no need to know everything around you.” And he leaned closer to your face. Your lips were inches away from each other but before he could do anything Ryuk came to the kitchen. He smirked at the sight of you too.

“Well well … what do we have here?” Ryuk said and laughed.

“I think you can see pretty well.” Light said and looked back at you. He leaned closer but this time to your ear. “There is always later.” And he smirked while you were blushing like crazy.

    He left you and threw to Ryuk an apple. The Shimigami licked his pale lips and ate it. You looked back to the fridge and took the lunch for today. After that you gave to Light an apple. He looked at you and smiled.

“How did you know I like apples?” he said. You blushed and put your hair behind your ear.

“I didn’t actually. You see I like apples too. And we don’t have any items to make breakfast so I gave you this instead.” You said and started eating your apple as did Light.

“We are going to school together. And after the school we have a job to do.” He said without looking at you.

“Fine.” You said and threw the rest of the apple to bin.

    You and Light walked together to school. Until you reached school no one spoke a word. You had your eyes on the floor and walked behind Light not beside him like yesterday. You didn’t want to look at his eyes. Suddenly he stopped. You looked up to see the reason he stopped. You have reached school grounds. He turned his head and looked at you.

“Not a word about it. Am I clear?” he said. You knew what he meant. And you sighed.

“You know that is out of question. No need to tell me.” You said and started walking towards the door. Light smirked from behind and followed you to class.

     The day passed. You didn’t pay attention to your teachers today. You had your mind to the event that took place yesterday. And still you couldn’t believe it. In truth you felt that you betrayed what you once believed. When the last bell rang Light pushed your shoulder to get your attention. You turned around and smiled to him.

“What is it?” you whispered.

“Meet me at the gate in five minutes.” He said and left.

     You took a deep breath to relax .And that was when Sara showed up. She smiled to you and you smiled back to her.

“Hey ____! I am going to buy a new dress. Care to come?” she said. You wanted to go with her and help her out but Light forbid you that. And you had no choice.

“I am sorry I can’t. I have to do something else.” You lied and forced yourself to smile.

“I see. Is that thing has something to do with Light?” she said with a grin.

“What … makes you think that?” you said.

“You know the whole day he kept staring at you. And he talked to you. So are you two dating or something?” she said.

“No we are not. He asked me … for notes that’s all.” You said and laughed nervously.

“Aha … You know you are bad at lying.” She said. You gathered your things and left the classroom.

“See you tomorrow.” You shouted and ran towards the gate.

  After a while you stopped running and took your time to reach the gate. You saw Light waiting for you there. When he saw you he smirked. That made you feeling uneasy. You approached him and stopped in front of him.

“Well what is our job?” you asked.

“You shall see.” He said and grabbed your arm.
