Realize : Light x Reader part 2

     School has finally come to an end at least for today. You sat up and collected your thing and put them to your school bag. You turned your gaze to Light and you smiled.

“Well are you coming to my house right away or do you have any other business you need to do before we do our school assignment?” you asked and continue smiling to him. He shook his head and stood up. He grabbed his bag from the floor and smiled to you.

“No I am coming with you. I want to finish as soon it’s possible.” He said. It was obvious that he was already bored. But he was a top class student. He already knew everything.

“That’s fine by me.” You said and picked your bag from the chair. He turned his back to you.

“I need to go to restroom. I will meet you to the Gate.” He said and left the classroom.

     You walked to the Gate and when you arrived you leaned your back to the wall waiting for Light to come. You close your eyes and feel the cool breeze to your face. It’s refreshing. You open your eyes and looked up to the sky. The sky was clear. You heard footsteps and returned your gaze to the ground.

“Well I am ready whenever you are.” Light said and looked at you. You looked away from his eyes tried not to make any contact.

“Ok follow me.” You said and started walking.

    No one talked while you two were walking next to each other. Some people thought that you two were a couple who just happen to have a fight. You heard some older women so say that you and he looked well together and that made you lower your head and looked down to your feet. Your bangs fell to your face and hid the blush. Your attention caught the shocked news from the huge screen which was on the big building. You looked up to it and read the news. You didn’t notice that Light stared at you and waited your final reaction.

“Ladies and gentlemen a while ago the police informed us that Kira strike again not too long ago. Thirty prisoners died from a heart attack. The police believe that Kira killed them. The names of those prisoners are…” You looked the screen quite shocked by the news. You couldn’t believe it. No matter how many times you thought about it you would never get used Kira’s way to punish.

    Light looked at you. He didn’t speak he just watched you. He heard Ryuk laughing and gave him a quick glare. Ryuk smirked to him and stop laughing.

“It looks like she hates Kira Light. What are you going to do now?” he said and disappear into the ground. Light sighed with annoyance and looked back at you. You stood there and watched the names of the prisoners.

“Are you ok ____? You look pale.” Light said. You looked at him in the eyes and he froze. He could see that you were ready to cry. How did you manage to hold back the tears from falling was a miracle. You smiled to him.

“I am sorry. I am fine. Let’s go!” you said and crossed the street leaving Light behind speechless. But he shook his head and followed you.

     The two of you walked towards your house but none was about to speak. Your mind was still on the news you heard. You couldn’t accept that every criminal deserved to be punished the same way. Kira was wrong. But at the same time right? You just couldn’t make your mind.

“Hey are you sure you are fine?” Light said. But you didn’t reply to him. After a while you spoke but without looking him in the eyes.

“Light … What is your opinion about Kira?” you asked. Light was caught off guard by this question. He was the one who usually asked something like that. And it was before he asked someone to join him. Could it be that you found out that he was Kira? He calmed himself a bit before he spoke back to you.

“Why are you asking something like this?” he said.

“Well you are smart and I thought that you already have an opinion. That’s all.” You answered and looked at him.

“My father is the head of the police _____. He believes Kira is dangerous and he must be caught no matter the cost.” Light said without looking at you.

“I asked your opinion on the matter no your father’s view point which I already knew Light.” You said to him.

“Same goes here. Justice runs to the blood. So I believe the same.” He said and looked at you.

“I see. I for one I am not sure what to believe.” You said and looked at your house. It was no far. “Hey Light we are close to my house. Let’s think what we are going to write to our assignment ok.” you said.

     After a while you and Light reached the front door. You pulled out the key from your pocket to unlock the door but your mobile phone rang like crazy while it was playing you favorite song. You bowed your head to Light and excuse yourself.

“Yes?” you said to the phone. Light didn’t looked at you but he could hear the conversation. You asked me about Kira and that made him curious. He didn’t ask your opinion on the matter. But he knew that eventually you would have to tell him. He smirked. You were the first person who made him curious.

“Ok. Good night onii-san. I will see next week. If you need anything call me ok. Bye.” You closed you phone and moved towards the door. “Sorry about that. My sister isn’t coming home tomorrow as she promised but the next week.” You said. You blushed when you realized what you said. “I am so sorry I didn’t mean to bore you with staff like this.” You bowed.

“It’s ok. When people feel a lot of pressure or sadness they often open themselves. And don’t worry you don’t bore me with staff like this.” He smiled and turned his gaze to the door waiting for you to open it.

     You unlocked the door and let Light in the dark house. You turned the lights on and took off your shoes as did Light. You closed the behind you and looked at Light with a smile on your face.

“I am going to make some tea and after this we can start. Follow me to the living room.” You said and took him to leaving room. He sat on the couch and looked at you.

“Maybe your parents will be surprise when they see me here maybe you should call them.” He said and took off his school jacket.

“Don’t worry about it. My parents are gone to business trip to London. So they won’t see you.” You smiled.

“Wait are you saying that you will be alone all this time?” he asked and looked at you with a worry expression which made you blushed.

“Yes. My sister will come back the next week and my parents the next month.” You said and put some of your hair behind your ear. “I am going to make some tea now.” And you made your way to the kitchen. When you made it to the kitchen you turned around and saw Light standing.

“Mind if I keep you company?” he asked with a smile. You smiled and shook your head to him.

“No. Please take a seat.” You said and turned to the cupboards. You found the tea and the cups. You were happy that someone was in the house. Maybe working with Light is not so bad after all.

“So you have a sister.” He said and looked at the table.

“Yes I do.” You said and put the tea on fire.

“What is she like?” he asked.

You turned and looked at him with a smile while you put your right hand on your right hip. “Exactly like me.”

“Is this even possible? I mean people may be relatives but sometimes they look different.” He said and looked at your ____ colored eyes.

“If they are twins then sure they look.” You said. His shocked expression was priceless. You couldn’t believe that you shocked Light Yagami.

“You have a twin sister. I don’t believe you.” He said and looked away.

“And why is that?” you said and put your fingers under your chin pretending that you were thinking.

“Because if you have a twin sister ….” He tried to explain but you cut him off.

“She should go to the same school as I.” you said to him with a playful tune.

“Exactly.” He said.

“My sister and I want to have what you call it personal space. We loved each other greatly but we are angry that we look the same.” You said and turned your attention to tea again.

“What do you mean? Why are you angry to be the same with someone?” Light said while you were serving him his cup of tea. You took a sip without taking your eyes away from the cup.

“When we were little people used to confuse us with each other. To their eyes we are the same but in our eyes we are different. Even mom and dad can’t tell the difference. When I looked to my sister’s appearance I see my own reflection but when I looked at the eyes I see a different person.” You said and laughed. “I must sound strange to you.”

“No. You view point is quite interesting.” He said and stood up from the chair. “I think we should start don’t you.” He said and made his way to the living room with you following from behind.

   After hours of reading and writing you finally finished it. You looked at proudly. Light looked at you and then his watch. You looked the hour and you were shocked it was 11:30. Light stood up and looked at you.

“I better get going.” He said and started gathering his things.

“No you can’t. It’s late. It’s better if you stay here for tonight.” You said and looked at his shocked expression. You laughed. “You know I could use to give expression like this.”

“Look I can’t stay. I know it’s late but I don’t want to be a burden to you.” He said.

“Nonsense. You saved my life this morning and gave me lunch. This is the least I could do. Call your parents and say them that you will sleep here.” You smiled to him and sighed in defeat.

“Fine and thank you.” He said and called his parents.

“I am going to make something to eat. I have some clothes for you at the bathroom if you want you can take a shower. I will call you when food is ready.” You smiled and made your way to the kitchen.

    Light head for the bathroom upstairs. He opened the door and saw the clothes you talked about. He took off his school uniform and walked to the bath tub. He let the water flow and he stepped inside. He took a quick bath and stepped out of it. He put a towel around his waist and himself to the mirror. Everything around him smelled like you. He sighed and looked through the mirror behind him. Ryuk smirked.
“Don’t you think you are a bit young for these things Light?” he said and laughed.

“Ryuk you have a dirty mind.” Light smiled and a red shade appeared on his face.

“I know. But why are you still here?” Ryuk said.

“I will stay here tonight.” Light said and wore the black T-shirt you gave him.

“I see. Are you going to tell her you are Kira?” Ryuk said and turned around and let Light put the rest of the clothes on.

“Yes. It’s time. All the time I spent with her show me how smart and characteristic she is.” He said and leaned his back on the door.

“And what if she refuse to join?” he said with a smirk on his face.

“Then she dies.” Light said and took his uniform. He opened the door of the bathroom and let Ryuk behind. He went downstairs only to find you waiting for him to the kitchen.

“It smells nice. And thanks for the clothes by the way.” Light said with a smile. He sat across from you and looked at the food on the table.

“Nothing. Eat as much as you like.” You took a few things on your plate and Light did the same.

    No one spoke. You ate quietly and without making any eye contact. After a few minutes the both of you finish. You smiled when you saw Light smiled to you. You picked up the dishes and took them to the sink.

“_____?” Light asked. You froze. But you turned and faced him.

“Yes Light? Is something wrong?” you said.

“What is your opinion about Kira?” he asked. You didn’t know what to answer.

“I don’t know.” You said without looked at his eyes even if he stared at you.  

“What do you mean? I thought that you had an opinion.” He said.

“I don’t know how I feel about it. Killing is wrong but some people deserve to die for their crimes. Someone who is a murder should die because he took a life. But Kire kills all criminals no matter the crime. It’s wrong. This morning he killed a thief. But this thief didn’t do anything to harm anyone. Yes he stole but he didn’t harm anyone. And after that he killed all those people. I can’t decide if I liked him or hate him.” You didn’t want to make eye contact with him. “I suppose I will pick sides when I learn who Kira is. If he is a person who I cherish then I will stay by his side and support him I suppose.”

    You heard Light stood up from his chair and walked to you. He came close to you and trapped you to the fridge. He put his hand to your chin and made you looked at him. His bright browns eyes looked straight to your ____ colored eyes.

“What am I to you then?” Light asked. You blushed like crazy and you could feel your heart beat faster.

“Why … do y  ... you want to know?” you managed to ask him. He smirked and leaned close to your ear. You could feel his hot breath.

“I want to know because …. I am Kira.”
